Design Consultation & Taster
We offer an enjoyable and informative consultation to all couples considering one of our Wedding Cakes. Design Consultations and Cake tastings take place at Chorister House, in the heart of Exeter opposite the beautiful Exeter Cathedral.
Just wanted to say a big thank you for such a wonderful cake, it was better than I ever could have imagined and was soooo scrummy! It really made the day perfect and we are still enjoying it now!

Wedding cake design consultation
Each Wedding Cake is individually designed to your specifications, incorporating any element from your Wedding day, from the colour scheme, flowers, invitations to the detail on your dress and much more. We design your perfect cake – unique to the two of you, making it truly special.
During the Consultation, we will discuss your wishes and requirements for your Wedding cake and together create the perfect cake. I then will send you the outlined details and quote of what we’ve discussed. If you are happy with this and wish to use Cherry Blossom Cakes – a refundable deposit is required to secure your date and booking. A Taster session can then be arranged. The deposit will be deducted from the final cake price, if you wish to use Cherry Blossom Cakes after the Taster session or refunded if not.
Cake tasting
During the Cake Tasting session, you will be able to sample your chosen cake flavours – making sure you are 100% happy with it and this also gives us another opportunity to go over all the final details of the day.
If you wish to bring anybody else with to enjoy this lovely part of your wedding planning, please do – the more the merrier. For extra people – the price will be £10.00 per person.

Delivery, set-up & cake stand hire
Delivery in the Devon area is included in the price and for deliveries further afield, a delivery fee will be charge. Please contact us to find out cost.
We’ll deliver your cake safely to your venue and set it up, making sure it is picture perfect!
Hire of the cake stand for the day is included in the price. We do ask that that stand/s are returned to Cherry Blossom Cakes the week after. If this is not convenient for you, we are happy to collect it and a collection fee will apply.
Prices
As all our Wedding Cakes are bespoke, exclusively designed to your specifications and therefore no two cakes are ever the same. Prices are worked out according to design, flavour, detail and size.
